StatSheet now projects Providence to get to the CBI. The Friars are sitting at #143 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 13-11 overall record and a 2-9 record in the Big East.
During the last four games, Providence grabbed a win against Rutgers but also took a step backwards with losses to RPI #24 West Virginia and RPI #78 South Florida.
Providence is weak against top competition, with a 1-10 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 1-7 record against the RPI Top 50 and an 0-4 record against AP ranked teams. While the Friars have a single quality win against RPI #27 Louisville, they're also weighed down by a bad loss to RPI #123 St. John's.
